Your email app should have opened with this message addressed to hello@whitepaperjourney.com. If nothing opened, use the link or copy the text below.
Prefer your own words?
Write directly to hello@whitepaperjourney.com. This is a small, independent project, so replies may take a while. Short, specific notes get the best answers: which page, what you did, what you expected.
Trail signs: common questions
Do you see the text I paste into the reading lab?
No. The page has no server behind it. Your text, tags and notes are held in this browser’s local storage, or in memory if storage is blocked, and are never transmitted. Clearing your browser data or using the “Clear everything” button removes them.
Will you review or recommend a particular paper?
No. This guide teaches a way of reading rather than judging individual papers, and it does not reproduce any real paper. The sample texts are invented for practice.
Can I use these questions and notes in my own materials?
The questions are meant to be used. Copy them into your notes, your team’s review checklist or your course handout. If you share the page itself, a link back is appreciated.
Which kinds of documents does this suit?
White papers, technical reports, journal articles, specifications and policy papers, anything where a long document makes claims and offers support. It suits dense reading in any field, and the questions work for documents outside any technical field too.
Something does not work on my device. What should I send?
Tell us the page, the browser and device you use, and what you expected to happen. Please do not include the text you were annotating; a description is enough.
